No this isn't a press release. The For Immediate Release podcast by Neville Hobson and Shel Holtz just went public with their thoughts on RadioTail Ripple. After being referred to our closed beta by Joseph Jaffe, they used Ripple for months without saying a word publicly (no small task for a podcaster). Now you can hear their thoughts.

Communicate, and ye' shall be heard

There's a nifty little link that sits proudly on top of your Ripple Control Panel entitled 'Communicate'. Clicking on it will bring you to an even niftier page where you can send messages directly to the RadioTail staff.

Is there something you wish Ripple did (within reason, of course)? Send a feature request, and there's a very good chance you'll see your idea implemented.

Can't figure out what a certain link does? Submit a help request, and we'll let you know exactly what you need to make Ripple into a useful application for your podcast.

The point is, don't hesitate to contact us. We thrive off of podcaster suggestions and want to make Ripple as easy and handy as it possibly can be.

Pies and Lines

You may have noticed already that the graphing in Ripple has been expanded and improved. Now there are snazzy pie charts to display the distribution of your users by geography, user agent and operating system.

Also your line and bar graphs have been updated with some much cleaner edges, which should make your 2 AM Stats check a little easier on the eyes.

Be on the lookout for a bunch of new features and updates in the very near feature.

RadioTail Ripple Makes Waves

After months of keeping podcasters happy with Ripple in closed beta, it's great to finally open it up to the podcast public. TechCrunch (which is no stranger to podcasting itself) got the scoop. We're most excited about getting feedback and new ideas from a much larger group of podcasters. The business world of podcasting is still quite young, so we know there's a lot of innovation left to be done. We expect that innovation to be driven by the content creators. We're just here to do the dirty work.

Welcome to the RadioTail Ripple Pond -- our new blog! Thanks to everyone who participated in Ripple's closed beta. We launched the Ripple service to help all podcasters gather statistics on their media files and build a business case for advertisers to sponsor their podcasts. On this blog we'll give you an inside look at how our service works and improves. We'll also keep it interactive and solicit your ideas for how our service can be even more useful for podcasters.

Be prepared for RadioTail Ripple to be opened up to the public in the next couple of weeks.
